author Rebecca Kaiser Gibson in conversation with poet Tin Fogdall on Wednesday, 5/15/24 at 6:30 p.m.
Join writer Rebecca Kaiser Gibson from 6:30-8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 15 for a reading from her novel, The Promise of a Normal Life. Hailed as “radiant and transporting,” the book is narrated by a fiercely observant Jewish-American girl who seems to exist in a private and separate realm. Her journey to womanhood takes the reader on a riveting series of experiences across the landscape of the 1960s. Rebecca is the founder of The Loom, a popular poetry series in Harrisville. Her most recent book of poetry is Girl as Birch.
Rebecca will be joined in conversation with fellow poet and friend, Tin Fogdall. Tin has been a New Hampshire Arts Council Poetry Fellow and a finalist for the National Poetry Series. Her poems appear most recently in SWWIM, The Missouri Review, Poetry Northwest, and many other venues.
All are welcome at no charge. Books, beer, wine, and snacks will be available for purchase.
