Cheshire Mill No. 2, 1859
Cheshire Mills built this 3½-story red brick building immediately to the south of Mill No. 1 and joined the two buildings with a 2-story connector. Its lateral sides have nine bays of eight-over-eight sash windows with granite sills and lintels. A set of three round-arched windows, a stylistic motif new to the village, accents each gable end. This structure marks a refined architectural change brought to mill construction in Harrisville by the Colony Family.
